Re the contention on whether Christ was
in the grave 3 full days or was actually raised
ON the third day.

1Cr 6:14 And God hath both raised up
the Lord, and will also raise up us by his
own power.

The solution might actually be quite simple.
The Lord was in the tomb for 3 FULL days.

What about ON the third day?
Maybe "This" hasn't happened yet?
 
My point is this, IF resurrection is on Tuesday -

That is the third day beginning on Saturday.
That would 'satisfy' both passages and give a
clue as to when resurrection is.

In other words, it could simply be an unfilled
prophecy for - 'our day'.

Christ, the head, was resurrected after 3 full days
- his body, those dead in Christ, are, perhaps, raised
on Tuesday .

It is definitely worth considering.
