Lauren,
"The
abomination of desolation IS
NOT the desecration of a rebuilt Jewish temple. This temple will not be rebuilt
because Jerusalem
will be given over to the Gentiles, (Rev. 11:2),
who will then desolate it, “armed forces” will come upon orders from the antichrist.
Daniel 11:31."
If the Jewish temple is not to be rebuilt in Jerusalem,
would you please explain where the temple of God is located that is mentioned
in Revelation 11:1 and in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4.
Revelation 11:1, "And there
was given to me a reed like unto a rod and the angel stood, saying, Rise,
and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein."
Revelation 11:2 also says, "But the court without the temple leave out, and
measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall
they tread under foot forty and two months." (I
thought that "the court without the temple" means the court outside the temple
since the word "without" is the Greek word #1855 "exothen" in Strong's
Concordance which means out (-side -ward, -wardly) rather than meaning the
court that has no temple.)
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, "Let no
man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not coe, except there come
a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is
worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself
that he is God."
