Hi everyone ~ I'm into natural healing as much as possible (given my own experience ~ how prescribed harsh medicines can often bring on debilitating side effects, sometimes much worse than the original problem)
 
Anyway, we extend that to even our pets.
 
We have a dog with LOTS of allergies ~ you know to ragweed (which is VERY HIGH right now) and pollen ~ that sort of thing.
 
She generally does pretty well when we feed her the right kind of food ~ without wheat or corn or chicken  {she has allergies to all 3}, and especially the wheat can make her itch horrendously.
 
Anyway, even though she stays on this good {wheat-free}  food all the time, now (perhaps it's a response to the ragweed ~ ?)  but now she is itching constantly & stays so, so miserable.
 
Anyone know of any "natural cure" for this ongoing itching?   I'm going to put some flax seed oil {the oil can often help the dry skin} in her diet and also bathe her down with some soothing Aloe Vera.
