Mark 3:25
If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

Our nation is at war. This war is being fought on multiple fronts, both physically and ideologically.  There are troops on the ground in Afghanistan and Iraq fighting Al-qaeda and Islamic terrorist.  Our troops are stationed throughout the world in support of our ground forces and to monitor other potential hot spots.  In contrast to these troops who are under the command of the U. S. military, we have other troops who are under the control of the UN.  Men and women who have pledged their allegiance to serve this country have been assigned to serve under the United Nations flag as peace keepers for foreign lands.  "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other" Matthew 6:24.

Then there is the current argument that is going on between this administration and the previous one.  Mr. Clinton is furiously defending himself and his administration's decisions at the expense of the Bush administration.  Condoleezza Rice made a statement yesterday accusing Mr. Clinton of making "flatly false" claims during his tirade.  Then Hillary steps in to defend Bill.  Other nations must see our country as divided and unstable, in turmoil, unable to put aside political differences for even a moment in order to present a strong united front to the world.

The recent UN general assembly in which Chavez and Ahmadinejad blasted the U.S. and President Bush was ridiculous.  To think that we, as a nation, could sit by and tolerate such actions on our own soil with hardly a raised eyebrow... .  The outpouring of disgust and rage against the ideals and words spoken by these two should have filled every newspaper and media broadcast throughout this country.  It should have been made VERY clear that this is our country and we stand united.  This is not to say that every decision our leaders make is the right one, however, this is our country and we must defend it.

Iran is working hard to accomplish their goal of nuclear weapons.  The United States is working just as hard to stop them.  Under the "wise" leadership of the UN, steps are being taken to diplomatically stop Iran.  WAIT!  What is this... "Russia to deliver 80 tons of nuclear fuel to Iran"?  Isn't Russia part of the UN security council?  How can it be that the UN is trying to stop Iran from becoming nuclear and yet Russia is providing 80 tons of nuclear fuel ?

The present world situation is "a house divided".  It will not stand.  There will have to be some sort of an "adjustment" and realignment in the structure of  world politics and power. That change may very well involve the rise of a new world leader.  Where is America in that equation?  I don't know.  But I do know that the internal bickering and finger pointing of the childish "I didn't do it, he did" bipartisan mentality must stop.  We are the "UNITED" States and that must be the face that we present to the world.  A divided country is a weak country.  There are many peoples and nations who view us as such and are just waiting to seize just such an opportunity to attack us, verbally and physically.

Politicians must stop fighting amongst themselves and do the job that they were elected to do.  They must put aside their petty differences and look ahead to the future of this great nation that we live in.  This is one nation, under one God (who is NOT "allah") and it is time to get back to the morals and principles that this country was founded upon. God will protect us if we truly turn back to Him and serve Him as a nation.  A house divided against itself cannot stand!
