I learned from contacting my Congressman,  that this Bill has already
passed the House, and has been referred to the Senate for
consideration.  An amendment was added which was referred to as the Hate
Crime Amendment, which would basically not permit the bible to be used
to criticize homosexuals and muslims.  The bill is now in the Senate
Judiciary Committee, which has not yet scheduled it for consideration.
I would suggest that a contact be made with the chairman, Senator Arlen
Spector at US Judiciary Committee, 224 Dirksen Building, Senate Office
Building, Washington DC, 20510, and/or the respective Senators from the
state of residence.  The request should be to have the Hate Crime
Amendment removed from the Bill entirely.
