"Re is Katrina a judgement call."

I believe God is moving around waking up people from all walks of  life and
not just the voodoo people of New Orleans.  I agree that there is  plenty of
sin going around in all sorts of places besides this state.  But  here is one
viewpoint that I have that may anger some of you who cannot see  anything wrong

with this administration.

I have been very bothered by the lack of care and real compassion  of the
poor and struggling middle class by this administration that seems to  have been

catering to big corporations.  Let's face it, these years have  been great for
the rich and borderline disastrous for the working class  people.  I believe
in personal responsability, but with that comes a set of  laws and a firm
dedication to your community as well.  I find it very  interesting that during
these years the poor have been without a voice until  Katrina came along.  With

this disaster Americans got to see face to face  the faceless people.  The
poor, the meek, and the "unwanted" faces that  have been ignored for
soo long.

But God in his wisdom has made these poor people speak  out in a way that
speaks volumes.  You see, I think God is judging not  only the nation and the
different sins going around,  but also those  committed by this administration.

President Bush is trying to make a  legacy during his few years remaining in
the office.  Katrina couldn't have  come at a worse time than this period.
With all the failings of FEMA and  the undercutting of it's resources in 2003 it

all comes to  light.  It's incredible to me that the same people who have been
ignored greatly by this administration is the group to have the LAST WORD on
 this president's legacy.

You might say "why are you saying this about a christian  president?  a man

of God? Why, why, why?

The answer is because God is no respector of men.  The  president can realize
this and make good what he has done wrong or he can go  sour.  Time will
tell.  But God is  watching.

God  bless,
