Richard & I live about 140 miles West of Port Arthur, TX, where Hurricane Rita (a healthy Category 4 storm with 140 mph winds at the moment!) seems destined to come on land!  My folks and grown children live, and I work, about 50 miles from Galveston.  Since we live further away from the coastline, my parents and two of my aunts are here to stay with us through the weekend.  My Dad showed up here at 2 p.m. yesterday (he's 84, and had decided to stay home alone; I was so relieved, I clapped, then praised the Lord!!!). Richard picked up my Mom & aunts from my cousin's home before the winds started yesterday.  My daughter and oldest son, Shelly & Michael, live in the heart of Houston.  Shelly says they are going to "ride the storm out".  Please pray for their safety!  My son, Chris, is at his Dad's house in NE Houston.  Please pray for his safety, too.  The winds are only supposed to be 25-30 mph here where we live. Please pray for all who are in Rita's path.  And thank you ALL for your prayers, because we know that the Lord always inclines His ear to His children! Praise His holy name!!!
