Egypt Deploys Commandos Along Gaza Border
Egyptian police commandos have begun full deployment along the border with the Gaza Strip. Palestinian security sources said 750 Egyptian commandos equipped with armored vehicles and rocket-propelled grenade launchers have taken up positions along the 14-kilometer Egypt-Gaza border. The sources said the Egyptians have sought to halt the unauthorized flow of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to the Sinai Peninsula.
