"The order of Melchisedec"

Dear John and Doves,

The Lord has impressed on me that there is a big clue in the words "the order of Melchisedec.  I did some research on this, which I share below.  Has anyone else got any teachings on Melchisedec?  Or does anything in this post give wisdom to any of you concerning this?

The Columbia Encyclopedia, Sixth Edition.  2001-05.

Melchizedek

or Melchisedec (both: mlkz´dk) (KEY)  [Heb.,=king of righteousness], in the Bible, king of Salem and “priest of the most high God.” He blessed Abraham after the defeat of Chedorlaomer, and Abraham gave him tithes from the enemy’s spoils. Later, Melchizedek is regarded as an eternal priest, typifying the priesthood of the future Messiah. In the Dead Sea Scrolls, Melchizedek, as God’s eschatological agent, effects the destruction of the angel Belial and the wicked spirits in league with him.

Hbr 6:20Whither the forerunner is for us entered, [even] Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?  (KJV)

In Hebrew chapter 7:20-28 it reads: "And in as much as not without an oath he was made priest (talking about Christ), (for those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, "The Lord sware and will not repent, thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec).
