I join you in prayers for your son who was deployed to Iraq.  I know nothing about intrepretations of dreams, but I remembered seeing the OWL as a symbol of the Skull and Bones Club of the Illumaniti.  Perhaps one of the birds in his dream is an owl, which may have something to do with the New World Order that the Lord will be defeating when He comes.  I found this link below:
