Dear Doves,
I agree with all of the evidence for a possible date for the Rapture/Trib to be this year on Rosh HaShanah. But, one thing about the scriptures that to me doesn't fit with that, are the following scriptures concerning Noah and Lot. I thought the former post about the lack of "marriage" in the days of Lot was insightful. But, what I see in these verses, claims that they did normal things drank, married, bought and sold, etc. These are not things that would have occurred on a high Holy day as I understand it. So, how could the rapture possibly be on a Jewish Feast Day such as Rosh Hashanah? That would not be an ordinary day and take the world unawares. Another thought is that with Islam feeling so smug about the disengagement and Katrina being the work of Allah, wouldn't they claim that Allah had killed or taken the "pesky heathen Christians" away if the rapture occurred on the start of Ramadan?
Luk 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
Luk 17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Luk 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
Plus, scriptures seem to tell us that the antichrist cannot be revealed until the restrainer is taken out of the way.
2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way.
I do not presume to be as knowledgeable about prophecy as most of you, (I'm just a simple mom with Fibromyalgia for 15 years, and have trouble connecting the dots sometimes), but to my simple mind, this is a stumbling block. Could it possibly be that Our Lord intends to rapture his bride on September 28th, the day --as I understand it-- that the last shofar is blown prior to Rosh HaShanah??? Then, perhaps the mystery of iniquity (Tribulation) could be unleashed on Rosh HaShanah/Ramadan? Also, counting inclusively, that would be 7 days prior to Rosh HaShanah, right?
These are just my thoughts and concerns I wanted to share and hopefully some of you could give me your insight on how this all fits together for you.
Come Lord Jesus!!!
