Shalom dear doves,
Where does Jesus stand, inside or outside, of the last days
(offical) churches? And is He speaking to individuals, one by one?
Note:
"Behold!
I stand at the door, and knock:
if any man hear my voice,
and open the door,
I will come in ..."
Dear doves,
Scripture teaches that the true ecclesia ['the called out'] is an 'of
Jacob/Israel/Jewish' one; NOT an 'of Rome' one!Jesus was and IS the King of the Jews.
All God's promises to Israel, and the nations (in relation to their
treatment of HIS WORD), will be fulfilled, exactly as He has promised. So, we will do well to go to the original ... as both the apostles
Peter and Paul have encouraged us:
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this
mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness
in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be
come in.And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come
out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from
Jacob: (Romans 11:25-26)
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that
ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the
day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any
private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy
men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (2 Peter
1:19-21)
(Now, who did God appoint to be the custodians of this 'more sure
word of prophecy' that Peter was speaking about?)
What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision?
Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the
oracles of God. (Romans 3:1-2)( and so ... NOT unto Rome. Note! This corective epistle was
written firstly to that part of the church at Rome in Paul's day ...
but is ignored by the apostate church of Rome today.)
So ...
Please see the truth of God's word ... how it HAS and IS being
exactly fulfilled ...
"lest thou forget" ( and as some say, history not remembered leads to
history repeated )
Deuteronomy 4:9 (BUT SEE ALSO context *** Deuteronomy 4:1-40 below ***)
Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently,
lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen,
and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life:
but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons ...
'lest' ... [NOTE ALL the IMAGES ... 'gods, the work of men's hands,
wood and stone']
And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be
left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you.And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and
stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell.****************************************************
But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God,
thou shalt find him,
if thou seek him
with all thy heart
and with all thy soul.
****************************************************When thou art in tribulation,
and all these things are come upon thee,**************************************************************
**************** even in the latter days, ********************
**************************************************************if thou turn to the LORD thy God,
and shalt be obedient unto his voice;(For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee,
neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he
sware unto them.

If a bishop really has the Holy Spirit, would he do this?

The examination being over, and both of them deemed heretics, the
archbishop pronounced their dreadful sentence of death, and they were
immediately delivered over to the secular power in order for
execution.The next day they were led to the place appointed for them to suffer;
in their way to which, Russell, seeing his fellow-sufferer have the
appearance of timidity in his countenance, thus addressed him:
"Brother, fear not; greater is He that is in us, than He that is in
the world. The pain that we are to suffer is short, and shall be
light; but our joy and consolation shall never have an end. Let us,
therefore, strive to enter into our Master and Savior's joy, by the
same straight way which He hath taken before us.Death cannot hurt us, for it is already destroyed by Him, for whose
sake we are now going to suffer. When they arrived at the fatal spot, they both kneeled down and
prayed for some time; after which being fastened to the stake, and
the fagots lighted, they cheerfully resigned their souls into the
hands of Him who gave them, in full hopes of an everlasting reward in
the heavenly mansions.[Fox's Book of Martyrs]
The martyrs were carried by a great band of armed men (for they
feared rebellion in the town except they had their men of war) to the
place of execution, which was common to all thieves, and that to make
their cause appear more odious to the people. Every one comforting
another, and assuring themselves that they should sup together in the
Kingdom of Heaven that night, they commended themselves to God, and
died constantly in the Lord. The woman desired earnestly to die with her husband, but she was not
suffered; yet, following him to the place of execution, she gave him
comfort, exhorting him to perseverance and patience for Christ's
sake, and, parting from him with a kiss, said, "Husband, rejoice, for
we have lived together many joyful days; but this day, in which we
must die, ought to be most joyful unto us both, because we must have
joy forever; therefore I will not bid you good night, for we shall
suddenly meet with joy in the Kingdom of Heaven."The woman, after that, was taken to a place to be drowned, and albeit
she had a child sucking on her breast, yet this moved nothing in the
unmerciful hearts of the enemies. So, after she had commended her
children to the neighbors of the town for God's sake, and the sucking
bairn was given to the nurse, she sealed up the truth by her death.[Fox's Book of Martyrs]

*** Deuteronomy 4:1-40 ***
Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the
judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and
go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth
you.Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye
diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD
your God which I command you.Your eyes have seen what the LORD did because of Baalpeor: for all
the men that followed Baalpeor, the LORD thy God hath destroyed them
from among you.But ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God are alive every one of
you this day.Behold, I have taught you statutes and judgments, even as the LORD my
God commanded me, that ye should do so in the land whither ye go to
possess it.Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your
understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these
statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and
understanding people. For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as
the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?And what nation is there so great, that hath statutes and judgments
so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou
forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart
from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and
thy sons' sons;Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in
Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and
I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all
the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach
their children. And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain
burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and
thick darkness. And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard
the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice. And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to
perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of
stone. And the LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and
judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to
possess it.Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of
similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of
the midst of the fire:Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the
similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any
winged fowl that flieth in the air,The likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, the likeness
of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth:And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the
sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven,
shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD
thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven. But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron
furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance,
as ye are this day.Furthermore the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, and sware that
I should not go over Jordan, and that I should not go in unto that
good land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance:But I must die in this land, I must not go over Jordan: but ye shall
go over, and possess that good land.Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD
your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the
likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee. For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.
When thou shalt beget children, and children's children, and ye shall
have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and
make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil
in the sight of the LORD thy God, to provoke him to anger:I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye
shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over
Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but
shall utterly be destroyed. And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be
left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you.And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and
stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find
him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon
thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and
shalt be obedient unto his voice;(For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee,
neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he
sware unto them. For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since
the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one
side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing
as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it?Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of
the fire, as thou hast heard, and live?Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of
another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war,
and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great
terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt
before your eyes?Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is
God; there is none else beside him.Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct
thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest
his words out of the midst of the fire. And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after
them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of
Egypt; To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou
art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as
it is this day.Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the
LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is
none else.Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I
command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy
children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the
earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.
If we are in the 'latter days' ...
then let's especially hear these words of Jesus HIMSELF:
"I stand at the door, and knock:
if any man hear my voice,
and open the door,
I will come in to him,
and will sup with him,
and he with me."
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou
wert cold or hot.So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will
spue thee out of my mouth.Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have
need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and
miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest
be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the
shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with
eyesalve, that thou mayest see.As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and
open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he
with me.To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even
as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
churches [the ecclesia].
(Revelations 3:15-22)

P.S.
Let's read/study God's Word the Bible,
and ask the Holy Spirit to teach us
and to help us to obey ...and we will grow ...
As newborn babes,
desire the sincere milk of the word,
that ye may grow thereby: (1 Peter 2:2)Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.Be not wise in thine own eyes:
fear the LORD,
and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel,
and marrow to thy bones. [so better than any transplant!]
(Proverbs 3:5-8)All scripture is given by inspiration of God,
and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof,
for correction,
for instruction in righteousness:That the man of God may be perfect,
throughly furnished unto all good works.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)Turn you at my reproof:
behold,
I will pour out my spirit unto you,
I will make known my words unto you.
(Proverbs 1:23)
