Prime Minister Ariel Sharon will begin his speech to the United Nations General Assembly Thursday night with a statement that Jerusalem will be united forever, his aides told Israel government Radio. Officials are discussing the possibility that the speech will be delayed until 10 p.m. Israeli time.

Sharon also will emphasize that Israel has no responsibility for the Gaza region and that the Palestinian Authority (PA) is accountable for events. The PA has claimed that Israel still occupies the area because it has not allowed the re-opening of the airport, which Israel fears will be used to aid terrorists.
