"Praise God"

Dear John, My husband and I just had an interesting phone call.  I am not imputing any significance to it but just wanted to tell you the story.  He was having problems with his HP notebook.  My laptop/notebook (at work) was online (wireless) and his wouldn’t hop on the network.  I did every repair I could think of on his computer and nothing was working.  He wanted to call tech support and got a man who seemed oriental whose name was John.  I know this is silly but to put a ‘face’ to this guy, I thought of you.  He seems so knowledgeable and was very patient with us.  He has us try all those same simple repairs and they didn’t work for him either.  Then he started digging deeper.  He has us remove & uninstall, etc.  Then at the very end of the phone call he gave us the trouble number and told us to use it for future reference.  My husband had his phone on speakerphone.  When John signed off, right at the very very end of the phone call he said two words which we both heard clearly: “Praise God”.  We looked at each other in utter amazement.  The connection went dead and I am not sure John meant us to hear that but we sure thought it was funny.  I just want to say even though I don’t post often, I read 5 Doves six days a week and am very thankful you are there.  When I get to work, 5 Doves is the first place I go.  Thank you.

P.S. We never know when we are on the phone (especially in a business setting) with other believers.

Thanks for the encouragement, Carol.

Praise God!  :)
