The "Clinton's Global Initiative" meeting put together by Bill Clinton comes to a close today, September 17, 2005. On the CGI Web site, five "commitments" have been posted on the following page.

Reading through these declarations of commitment and knowing this is merely a token sampling, you can see how a vast number of men, women and children will become enchanted with this one man who can bring so many powerful people together and bind them together in their commitment to work together for the common good. Eliciting such commitments from the "distinguished attendees" Clinton has now stepped into a role where he may be considered as wielding a level of influence as much as or even more than he did while he was the incumbent President of the United States. Where might this be headed? The Bible addresses such a role in the last days and where it would lead. Although many will argue this for yet a short season, it has been clear to many of us that Bill Clinton is ordained to become a messiah figure to the world. My hope here is not to convince everyone that I am right about Bill's destiny but to bring the facts to your attention. I would also like to invite and encourage you to consider what I have been led to write about how this messianic figure's identity would be revealed and what it means when it is, a writing I feel v e r y passionately about.

What is being brought to a conclusion in New York as I write is not yet that key event prophesied to reveal the identity of the "lawless one," but yet, it is a significant and necessary event that exhibits a principal facet of his role.
For those obedient to the Lord's command to "Watch" there are many signs and categories of signs that, now, on a daily basis, declare the soon coming of our Lord Y'shua. The focus of our attention is ever to be on the Lord, and as faithful and obedient children, to say and do as He directs. He has directed us to watch the signs, and so the way of the wise is to watch, and to share what we see. The Lord gives wisdom, and His wisdom is required, absolutely required if we are to avoid being deceived, which is a key feature of the last days. Interpreting the signs, first recognizing them for what they are, then interpreting them to give the meaning and resultant understanding - this is what we must have! This wisdom from above is critical, friends.
John 14:18-27:
18I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."22Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, "But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?"
23Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
25"All this I have spoken while still with you. 26But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
