We all live below sea level.  That is the reality of a fallen or sunken world.  God is our Levee, holding back the flood of evil (Psalm 91: 9, 10).  Pray for those who do not yet have Him in their lives, that they will receive Him.  He will come and establish His protection around them.   He will begin to pump out  filth and degradation from all around them and He will build a garden in their lives.  Pray for those who once knew Him, but now deny Him.  Their Levee may be breached at any time!  As much as we rightfully pray for those who have suffered so much from Hurricane Katrina, also pray for our nation for repentance and that, like the prodigal son, we will return to our Father, asking for forgiveness and a place in the quarters of His servants.  His forgiveness and love come from a very deep well!  Pray that we will comprehend what the Spirit is saying in New Orleans!  We desperately need the bigger picture.
