I have never been MORE convinced in my entire life that the TIME IS AT HAND for the rapture!! ~ for Jesus to descend from the clouds with a **SHOUT** for us to “come up here”.

We are given clues all throughout Scripture. The main ones that keep ringing thru’ my head lately are the basket of (late~ almost overripe) summer fruit in Amos 8, when the Lord says the end has come upon His people AND the Scripture in Jeremiah 8 that says SUMMER HAS ENDED and the Jews are not saved.

Summer has now officially ended. Rosh Hashanah is next week, and I am not one to put stock into saying the Lord HAS to come at Rosh Hashanah, however I’m also not saying that, without a doubt, that He will NOT either. For no one knows the day and that would certainly include RH, too.

I’ve known the significance of Rosh Hashanah for some five years, {see www.levitt.com/essays/roshhashana.html } and I’ve been intently watching all along. But never, never, never have things been so “lined up” for the rapture, and then the arrival of the antichrist as they are right now; coupled with MATCHING Scriptures in the Old Testament of how things would be right before we are gathered together to be hidden with Him {rapture} while the tribulation takes place down here on earth.

While I am not date setting or saying the rapture HAS to be at Rosh Hashanah, even so, I do find it an intriguing possibility, one that should cause us to keep our lamps full of oil & our spiritual houses in order & in tune with the Lord.

Along with Rosh Hashanah holiday coming up, consider the TIMING of these other events spoken of before the Lord's return:

** GAZA shall be deserted. {Zech 2}

** End of summer {overripe fruit, says the Amplified translation} & the end has come upon my people     {Amos 8}

** Summer IS PAST & the Jews are not saved {Jeremiah 8}

** Signs, signs – to see that the trib is at the door { www.rapturealert.com/signsofhiscoming.html }, but rapture first.

I’ve been enjoying fellowship with Christians over the weekend, although I don't think any see Jesus as coming super-soon like I do. I have one who believes in the rapture, but is blinded to how close we truly are. In fact, I don’t know of anyone who is like-minded with me about this, other than my friends online. {other than certain websites & bb's, it can some times get a bit lonely to be a "watcher"}

Most talk of their plans & their lives for YEARS down the line – something that I cannot begin to fathom!

Yes, I’ve jumped the gun a time or two on the timing of the rapture myself.   I suppose it comes from my deepest desire to be with the Lord Jesus in eternal paradise.

But when we study the signs for ourselves & see all this going on in the world right now, we should not even begin to *think* that the Lord delays His coming!! {Luke 12}

For in Luke 21, we are told when these things BEGIN to happen, that our redemption draws nigh. {begin to happen – meaning with ALL the events happening simultaneously, as they very much are right now} Also consider that Jesus will come when the winds & seas are roaring!   {hmm… notice any hurricanes happening lately!?….}

LOOKING UP!! ~ Hoping, anticipating & expecting to see the Lord very, very soon!!

Here’s what I figure: it MAY indeed be Rosh Hashanah (Oct. 3/4th), because this is still CLOSE to “summer being past” {per Jeremiah 8}, and the Gaza pullout has just happened {per Zechariah 2} But even should Rosh Hashanah come & go then, Christians, we are to keep oil in our lamps anyway; we are to go on watching anyway. {preaching to the choir here!   ;)   Some day “SOON” all this watching business will be over with; we will be having a feast with the King of Kings ~ He Himself will be serving us. Amazing & incredible, & I am humbled by the fact that He would even care to.

If Rosh Hashanah should come & go & no rapture, the one main thing I disagree with people on – is I cannot say that it MUST, must, MUST happen on Rosh Hashanah & therefore we have to wait a whole ‘nother year. Because I truly believe our redemption is nigh; Jesus is at the DOOR; and it will be just any day now!!

But I also believe that with all these other things going on, and the TIMING of Rosh Hashanah falling in line with Gaza having just been deserted, and the basket of summer fruit (almost overripe), and summer having now ended, not to even mention all the signs of the just-around-the-corner tribulation that will come as a snare to all those who dwell upon the earth, and all these signs being so prevalent now, so with all these things happening and Rosh Hashanah being mere days away…. It is possible, possible, possible!!
