Ellen,
I work with people (there was about 30 from where I work) that were in
the Pentagon taking a class ONE room away from where the plane hit.
Praise God they all made it out safely but it was a near thing.  It was
a PLANE not a missile that hit.  They were there, and are eyewitnesses.
And as far as Jet fuel not burning hot enough to melt steel - what do
you think happened at the World Trade Center.
