Re: my previous email about Oral Robert's vision and Richard Roberts' statement, "God is out of time. His timetable has run out."
Some readers have asked, "What does it mean?"
Each person should seek the Lord for the interpretation. Personally, my understanding or interpretation of it is that, if the statement was from God, the time on God's prophetic clock has run out, which will trigger imminent and fast-moving events to wind things up. (It obviously does not mean that the tribulation is over.) I believe the rapture could be extremely -- extremely -- near. If you are one who does not believe in the rapture, you can fit it into your own scenario (and brace yourself for the wrath to come when about half of the world's population is killed).
Is the vision of Oral and statement of Richard from God? Here again, each must pray and decide. I cannot guarantee 100% that they are from God, but I know such experiences are biblical, plus these line up with other, similar revelations. I assume that they are, until or unless shown otherwise. I have detected nothing unbiblical about it.
Finally, a few people have made derisive comments about Oral Roberts. One person even posted on a Web site a list of all of Oral's past mistakes! May God prevent any self-appointed scorekeeper from ever publicly posting all my mistakes! God have mercy. Probably no server would be big enough to hold all the data! It would be embarrassing to me as well as spiritually harmful for the poster. I know Oral Roberts may have made some mistakes, and I do not always agree with him (or most anyone else); however, I respect this old saint who has been walking with God for many years. I am not about to automatically discount what he so emphatically and with such great emotion describes.
