Dear friends:
Yesterday, to my surprise and dismay, I took the mark. Here is how it happened. My grand kids were visiting and I took them to Chuck E. Cheese's for pizza and games. But before we could enter, the young hostess asked me to hold out my wrist, and before I knew what was happening, she put the mark on it, ostensibly so that children can be identified with adults and not be kidnapped. Good idea on the surface, but that is just an excuse. I immediately sensed that I had been hoodwinked by the antichrist and the New World Order. I had a hunch that Chuck E. Cheese is merely a front for the CIA and that George W. Bush, John Ashcroft and the NWO crowd are behind it all. It won't be long before they arrest everyone without the mark and ship them off to one of those concentration camps I have been reading about. That's what the Patriot Act is all about, you know. It's just a matter of time. I suspect even the young Chuck E. Cheese hostess is in on it. Looking back, she did have an evil look in her eye. These fears were confirmed later when I found reports on the Internet from the Northwest Intelligence Network, the American Super Patriot Society, and the Culling Edge Web site revealing the secret conspiracy involving George W. Bush. Reportedly, it all started with a Skull and Bones meeting several years ago. But what the pubic doesn't know is that John Kerry, also a Bones member, is in on it. Regardless of who is elected, the plot will continue, because it is the plan of the Bones to subjugate all Americans and make them slaves of the NWO. When I got home I rushed to my computer and confirmed all this with the Bible codes. I found a startling matrix with the words Chuck, cheese, pizza, Bush, Ashcroft and NWO all connecting in the form of a "bone" at a skip distance of 666, which proves all this with a mathematical probability of error of only 1 in 10 trillion.
_________________________NOT!
Friends, the above is all just a parody. If anyone believes it, contact me immediately because I have a nice bridge in San Francisco I would like to sell you cheap. I did go to Chuck E. Cheese's with my grand kids, and the pizza was great, and they put something on my wrist, but the rest of the story is untrue. I made it up to dramatize some of the garbage circulating on the Internet lately and to caution you.
In the last few days, I have received e-mails or seen Web posts with claims just as ridiculous or more so. One claim says that the White House was behind 9-11 to justify going to war against Iraq. Another says that American Flight 77 did not hit the Pentagon as witnessed by many, but is part of a "conspiracy." Another even says that George W. Bush and John Kerry are secret homosexual lovers. Can you believe it? Some apparently do. The list is endless and limited only by the evil imaginations of depraved people.
The Internet is becoming like the super-weird Weekly World News tabloid at the supermarket checkout counter, but worse. Typically, many people see such stuff in writing on the Internet and assume it must be true, so they rush to send it to their mailing lists, or post it, and soon it is circulating all over the world.
Freedom of speech is wonderful, but it is also dangerous in that nut cases can freely publish lies and call it truth and many people cannot tell the difference. Even some who claim to be Christians (only God knows) are being deceived by some of this stuff.
Be careful what you believe, but be more careful what you spread to others. Of the seven things the Lord hates, five of them are: "a lying tongue, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers" (Proverbs 6:17).
