I was reading the Word the other day, and asked the Lord, "Does the Word refer to conspiracies?" All at once, I began to see a conspiracy in the beheading of John the Baptist. I saw the conspiracy of the Pharisees who tried to kill Jesus. I saw the conspiracy of trumped up unfounded charges against our Lord, and a kangaroo court that broke their own Mosaic law by trying him at night.
I saw the conspiracy between Judas and his Savior. I saw the conspiracy of the money he had been paid -- 30 pieces of silver for his Master's blood. I saw the conspiracy of the Jews, who said someone came and stole his body in the middle of the night (in which the story still circulates today). I saw conspiracy after conspiracy. Who says the Bible does not speak of them? If they were occurring in Jesus time, then how much more in these last days?
--ELLEN--
HELLO ELLEN
Great post's yesterday Ellen, and very good Scripture linkage; but don't expect the scofflaws to be able to grasp too much though; they're off in their own orbit somewhere. <G> And just what kind of guy is it who would take the moniker of a convicted murderer who was on the lamb until the law finally caught up to him, anyway?
Now, as far as your post comments above. You are totally correct about the Lord Jesus, and the conspiracies that swirled all around Him, from the very earliest times of His ministry, right up to the time of His death. Even right after His birth, Herod, was conspiring against Him, while seeking to find Him to kill Him.
All through His life, the Sadducees and Pharisees, were constantly seeking to find fault, either by what He said or taught, or by what He did, they were always close by conspiring to trip Him up. (Take for instance the act of Him healing on the Sabbath day; or of bringing the adulteress woman to him to see what He would say, and how He would handle it to name a couple of instances.) They are so numerous; they are too many to start to mention; just open your Bibles and start reading, especially where the Pharisee's and Sadducees are mentioned. In reading Matthew Chapter 24, Mark Chapter 13, and Luke Chapter 21, we see the Lord Jesus speaking of the signs, events, happenings, and goings on that would be seen in these latter days, and indeed we are now seeing these things in an ever increasing scale now; those things contain many conspiracy scenarios. And more often than not He is speaking of these conspiracies in indirect terms, and even in cloaked direct terms, that can only be seen by eyes with Spiritual understanding and wisdom. The Lord Jesus even speaks of many of His people who will be brought before courts and justice systems for their testimony, by those who actually think that they are doing good, and this even is a conspiracy that is on the way--and all the mechanisms and laws, both nationally and internationally are now being put rapidly in place for these things to happen within the antichrists NWO system that many of we have yelled and screamed about, only to be met with derision from an apparently now increasing Laodicean community. The ones who have Spiritual understanding and wisdom will see these things; and those that don't--won't. And actually, this great spiritually conspiracy, can be threaded back physically all the way back through the Old Testament to the Garden of Eden, where it had its conception; right to Armageddon where it will have its conclusion.
These are truly the latter days and end of days, as the illusions and delusions of these various scriptural conspiracies become more rampant; while the ones who can see these things are decreasing and the scoffers who can't see are increasing. The road to destruction is wide, and many are on and within that road. Woe to those people! Woe to those people! Woe to those people! The Lord God is stirred and He is very angry with a very righteous anger! Mighty will be the results of His anger and chastisement on a careless, sleepy, transgressing, and wayward people!

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.
