Dear Brother John & Doves...

Well, it's been nice knowing you all in this brief period, as the
Asteroid 4179 Toutatis will NOT merely pass by this Wednesday
September 29th, but it will indeed collide with Earth, killing untold
billions of people, the waters of the oceans will inundate each and
every coastline, the nations will be shaken, the skies will darken, it
will be "the end of the world as we know it". Truly, Armageddon is
even now, knocking upon our door.

How do I know this?

Why....I read it on the Internet!!  Just like that LAST series of dark,
conspiratorial theories from the fraud calling themselves "Aussie Bloke"
who conned thousands of people into believing that he was some sort of
astronomer in Australia, who was valiantly telling the world (anonymously
of course) that a series of asteroids, comets, etc., were all bound for our
very own Planet Earth, and all the world's navies were headed out to sea
to desperately try to ride out the storm, all part of a conspiracy you see,
to keep the masses ignorant, let them die on a wholesale scale, while the
military powers of the world were preserved, at least in the oceans. Right?

How many red faced people read the chortling words of the hoaxers (who
called themselves 'watchers') and realized that they had been 'had'?

I daresay quite a few, perhaps even a few right here on Five Doves.

The lesson here my Brothers and Sisters?

Trust not in the unverified (and yet oh-so-convincing) conspiracy theories,
plots and rumors that are packaged, polished, refined and presented as the
'truth', when in fact there is no way to truly determine if they represent
truth
or just another series of lies designed to mislead, sow confusion and despair,
and further the one TRUE conspiracy of Satan - which is to keep our minds
and hearts OFF the focus of the Redeeming Blood of Jesus Christ.

Time is short. Preach the Gospel, reach out to the unsaved, spread the word
that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is Coming Soon.
 
In other words, 'Keep your eye on the ball'.
