"What does the Bible say?"
I was reading the Word the other day,
and asked the Lord, "Does the Word refer to conspiracies?" All at
once, I began to see a conspiracy in the beheading of John the Baptist.
I saw the conspiracy of the Pharisees who tried to kill Jesus. I saw the
conspiracy of trumped up unfounded charges against our Lord, and a kangaroo
court that broke their own Mosaic law by trying him at night.
I saw the conspiracy between Judas
and his Saviour. I saw the conspiracy of the money he had been paid --
30 pieces of silver for his Master's blood. I saw the conspiracy of the
Jews, who said someone came and stole his body in the middle of the night
(in which the story still circulates today). I saw conspiracy after conspiracy.
Who says the Bible does not speak of them? If they were occuring in Jesus
time, then how much more in these last days?
