I am by no means a supporter of John Kerry. He is a liar and I don't trust him at all. The Heinz fortune which he and his wife Teresa enjoy spending has been used to fund extremist groups, and despite the urban legends websites claim that the Heinz money has gone only to local Pennsylvania causes, others make different claims.       I voted for George Bush in 2000, believing that he was a trustworthy Christian who had biblical values, and that he would be great for our country and help right the wrongs that were so blatantly anti - Christian. However, as I began to read and discover some disturbing things, I became aware that things have gone from bad to worse under his administration.       I have written directly to Pres. Bush and to several well-known Christian leaders who are trusted friends of his, asking if he has ever publicly renounced his affilliation with the Skull and Bones society, and asking if he knows what the Bible has to say about giving away the covenant lands of Israel, and the blessings and curses that follow one's attitude towards Israel. I am still waiting to hear from anyone. I would think that a genuine believer of several years, especially one who has theologians to advise him, would know that allah is NOT the God of the Bible. Not one shred of evidence has been made public with regard to Bush renouncing S and B, nor have I seen absolute proof that he is a genuine believer. I have read all the heartwarming internet stories about Bush praying with this soldier and leading that young man to Christ, but they are only rumors. So on what does one base an opinion in the absence of proof? The fruits that a tree puts forth, good or bad. "For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.For every tree is known by his own fruit." Luke 6:43-44. Many will claim to be His, but he will tell them He never knew them.
     Yes, I believe God is sovereign and He says that He places kings upon their thrones and He removes them. The Lord will be glorified and He will use even the wicked to accomplish His ultimate purpose. Ex. 14:17-18. So I believe that God will allow the election to be won by the man He wants to use to fulfill His purpose. We do not have the mind of God, nor can we imagine what His plans are, but we can rest securely in the knowledge that He is in control.
    We are told to pray for those in authority (I Tim.2:2) so that we lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.   By the way, I picked up the book Secrets of the Tomb at the library and have  finished it. It's very interesting that this book, which was published in 2002, has very few photos, and even fewer photos of famous Bonesmen, but the author chose to include not only Pres. Bush, his father, and grandfather, who were all members, but also John Kerry. She also had a brief anecdote about Kerry, which makes me wonder if she didn't have some kind of inside knowledge about this year's election.  An interesting fact about the Skull and Bones society from the book:
