Regardless of whether a Republican or a liberal Democrat wins the Presidential election in November of 2004, one day the Bible will probably be banned anyway. I assume this will happen during the tribulation period when Christians are being persecuted. Amos 8:12 says, "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing of the words of the Lord: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it."  When faithful Christians are taken to heaven in the rapture, there will be a lack of hearing the word of God in churches and by TV broadcast.
 
Unfaithful Christians don't always hear the word of God with spiritual ears although they hear it with their physical ears, and it goes in one ear and out the other when they don't obey what the Lord says.  They have "itching ears" to hear only the parts of the Bible that they want to hear so that they can scratch their own itch and do what they want to do in the area of sin.
