One of your recent posts mentioned Mind Control.  This is something that I have wondered about myself in regards to whether a person taking the Mark of the Beast if it is an implant will then have their mind controlled by it because you will notice from reading the book of Revelation that those taking the Mark of the Beast do not repent of their sins.  However, unlike the author of this article called "Is The Mark Of The Beast A Mind Control Device Or System?" at http://www.blessedquietness.com/journal/prophecy/mindcontrol.htm who writes "Missing the Rapture of the Lord's Church means becoming the mental slave of other men until we die," I believe a person will have a choice of worshipping the beast or not. Those worshipping the image of the beast will receive the Mark of the Beast in their right hand or forehead.  Those who refuse to worship the image of the Beast will be killed. Of course, the Bible does not tell us whether the Mark of The Beast will be an implant to control a person's mind; but if that's what it turns out to be, then I could see why these people taking the Mark of the Beast do not repent of their sins.
