"up-coming events"

Shalom All:

The night before, September 15, we entered the first day of Yom Teruah.  Yesterday evening, Septermber 16, was the begining of the second day of Yom Teruah.

At our Yom Teruah meal our family rejoiced in knowing that our names are written in The Lamb's Book of Life.

Israel is about 8 hours earlier in time from our CDT so ... after midnight in Israel is 4:00 PM for us.  As we enter this cycle of fall feasts my eyes always go to our "Israel" clock - set to Jerusalem time - to keep track of the "time".

There are now 7 days before Yom Kippur.
September 17 - this evening begins Sabbath
September 18
September 19
September 20
September 21
September 22
September 23
September 24 - evening begins Yom Kippur
September 25 - the day (Yom) of Kippur itself

Much can happen in this time-frame.

Great introspection during this time.  Those who observe this time will make great efforts to set things right between themselves and others so nothing clutters their relationship with The Father.

May you rejoice that your name is inscribed in The Lamb's Bood of Life!
