Would it help knowing that the "date" set for fall is only that specific
"time" when the equinox occurs but the entire "season" is about a 1/4 of the
year and is before and after?

Hense Rosh Hashanah, while occuring before Sept. 21 is still in the "season"
of fall?

Is there a teaching that you know of that makes the timing this year
note-worthy?
