"Re: Nickajack Cave (Jim)"

Dear Doves,

Yesterday, Jim wrote (link):
Instead, the Lord spoke to him very clearly and said: "I want you to go and get your family ready to meet Me." Then he said, "Go tell the whole world that I am coming for my children before the year 2000" (emphasis supplied). The message was clear and without question. (See comment at end.)

(2004 update. I have spoken with David several times since the year 2000. He is as mystified as anyone about the message not coming to pass "before the year 2000." The evidence is overwhelming that David had encountered the Lord. However, many are wondering if David misunderstood and God meant 2,000 prophetic years after the crucifixion and resurrection, which is 1971.3 modern years. If the crucifixion was in AD 33, that takes us to about the fall of 2004. We shall see.)
I'm not mystified at all, Jim.

Consider this:
2Cor. 13.1-3 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. 2 I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare; 3 Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.
This is NOT "just Paul speaking" - and he says so CLEARLY in verse 3!

I'm sure Jesus DID come in 2000 - it's just that His Bride wasn't ready, so He left her behind, that's all (!)

And His word to us through Paul is essentially no different from what He told David Gant:

Get ready to MEET Me! (to David). Jesus (through Paul) writes: "To those who have sinned, and to all the rest, IF I come again, I will not spare."

Same as here -
1Pet. 4.17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
- because most of the Church IS NOT ready!

Remember that God's ORIGINAL intention for the Jews was that they would ALL be Priests. They were to be "a Light unto the Nations." But after the sin of the Golden Calf, only the Levites stood with Moses - and thus God gave the Priesthood to that tribe ONLY.
1Cor. 10.5-6 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

Rom. 15.4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
And so for us. Jesus' ORIGINAL intention is that He would come for a pure and spotless Bride, to rule and reign with Him. Yet today, for the most part, all He has is a filthy, rotten whore -
Heb. 3.18-19 - 4.1 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. 1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
- and unless the church gets a real WAKE UP call REAL SOON, then MOST of them are going to fall in the wilderness and not enter in, either!

~ ~ ~

And isn't this the whole idea behind the concept of a "Firstfruits Rapture" - that ONLY those who have kept themselves clean and unspotted from the world, will be taken?
2Cor. 6.17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
It's no different here:
1Cor. 11.31-32 But if we judged ourselves rightly, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord, in order that we may not be condemned along with the world. (NAS)
Those who think they can "get away" with taking Communion while KNOWINGLY in sin, only "eat and drink condemnation to themselves," because they fail to "rightly judge the Lord's body" (v.29), thinking they're still in it!

So keep your nose, clean, Doves - and perservere until the end!
Matt. 24.13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
And just ignore the rest of those Foolish Virgins who are "too busy playing church" to hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches!
Dan. 12.9-10 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; BUT THE WISE SHALL UNDERSTAND.

Matt. 25.1-2 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
Don't be found to be a "Foolish Virgin," Dovies !!
