I try to read the postings here several times a week, but usually only have time to look at a few here and there so If this has already been covered, then just over-look this one.I was listening to the Bill O'Reilly radio call-in show today and a caller suggested he had the solution to the kidnappings in Iraq. That solution would be using implantable chip technology in all contractors and foreign workers in that region. The tracking chip would lead the U.S. directly to the kidnappers. Bill O'Reilly responded that it was a good idea and didn't know why it wasn't being used. He then stated he would insist on something like that being used if it were him being sent to that region.Something about that conversation really made my antenna go up.If you ignore any possible Biblical significance here, it would almost lead you to be angry that companies who have workers over there aren't using all available technology that could perhaps save the lives of their employees.Does anyone have any info on this topic ??Is this technology far enough along so that this would be a feasible option at this time ??If it were used for this purpose and ending up saving lives or locating some of the terrorists, it would most certainly make this technology much more popular and acceptable to the general public.
