In the above post, it tells us that in our baby boomer generation most Christians believe that
confessing our sins to Jesus, and accepting Him as Lord of our life
is a genuine conversion.
True.

Today, only half of our younger population believe that is necessary.

We could commiserate
forever,
wring our hands
forever,
and get into the paralysis of analysis forever,
but in the final end, if one personally does not take the time to read the Bible for themselves,
they have turned their backs on the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
(Good starting point to read is Isaiah 53.)

An Almighty love of that intensity and proportion demands a response....
If He had not come,
there would have been an excuse.

But He DID come, and now we all are without excuse."
John 16:9

Quote:
He took the time to bleed;
We must take the time to read.

God says He has already put His ways in our hearts:
"And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother,
saying:
"Know the Lord."

"For all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest."
Hebrews 8: 10, 11
(It's in our sensors).

Our heart and eyes speak out against our denials.

Romans 1: 19, 20
"Because that which may be known of God, is manifest in them "

(those who are not yet born again, already witness the proofs of God).
"For God hath *showed* it unto them."

"For the invisible things of Him (spiritual concepts)
from the Creation of the world are *clearly* seen, being understood by the things that are made"
(Creation proves God)
"even His eternal power and God-head."

"So that they are
 *without excuse* "
(not to believe in God).

Romans 8:35--39 lists how nothing can separate us from the love of God.

It does not mention, however, the one and ONLY thing than can separate us from God...the same thing that separated Adam and Eve from God for a season;
and that is self-will.
Later, they did repent.

Even in the Garden of Eden, God did not take away their free-will. They had it until they died physically.

And so do you and I .

We must "work out our own salvation with fear and trembling."
Philippians 2:12

God is God.
God is Real.
Jesus DID come.
Jesus is God.
The Holy Spirit is a real Person.
The Holy Spirit is God.

We must seek God with all our heart in response to His dying for me personally, and for you personally.
