John and Doves,
The article above relates that there are about 176 million American adults who self-identify as "christians".
Yet only 6% (15 million) have a biblical perspective on world views.
The majority believe that all faiths are equal ( they have obviously not researched the matter);
And --very seriously wrong-- is the fact that they do not believe that the Holy Spirit is a real Person and actually exists.
The report card for teaching basics shows that the church at large has failed in this Laodicean age,to the loss of our hinder generations.Where were the parents ?Evidence that demands a verdict.
Teaching Truths:
Deuteronomy 6:7...."And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children,and shall talk of them when thou sittest in thine house,
and when thou walkest by the way,
and when thou liest down,
and when thou risest up."----------Deuteronomy 11:19"And you shall teach them your children, speaking of themWhen thou sittest in thine house,and when thou walkest by the way,when thou liest down,
and when thou risest up."
Proverbs 22:6"Train up a child in the way he should go,and when he is old,he will not depart from it."
It's never too late to begin.
When we realize that the Holy Spirit is our Guiding Companion all through life,our Wonderful Counselor, our Spirit of Truth (our conscience),We come to realize that we are never alone, andthat we are always in the Presence of God.That gives me great Peace and Comfort.
