One of the best articles I wrote in the past 5 months was:

 

THE CONDUNDRUM OF THE RAPTURE.  It SEEMS SO CLOSE....and yet, from a worldly perspective, it seems SO unlikely.

 

ON THE ONE SIDE....

I long for the Rapture as much as anyone I know...even on five Doves. 

I could make the case that it SHOULD happen SOON......so many problems exist in the world that it makes MORE sense to me that the Rapture is very SOON.....than if it is still 2, 5 or 10+ years from now. 

* Israel's soon fight against Iran

* The enormous problems in the US and World economies.....especially in Europe, too.  NOTHING has been fixed 

*  The immoral leadership of my country....the INCREASINGLY immoral nature of our society...ALL AROUND THE WORLD.

* Israel's 70th birthday is in just 5 -1/2 years....

* and on and on and on.......

 

 

ON THE OTHER SIDE...

I see this world...every day, it goes on as it has for the past 1000 years. 

Every day, the sun comes up and the sun goes down.....and another day goes by.

WHAT COULD POSSIBLY MAKE ANYONE....any NORMAL person.....believe Jesus Christ is coming back soon, if at all?? 

 

AH.....the conundrum of the Rapture.....

It seems to near.....yet it seems so far.

 

WAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I just want to go home.

I want to live in a sin-free world....the way it was ORIGINALLY Made........

I just want to see God's plans unfold on this planet....

I just want to see God's hand move in such an UNdeniable way......to judge the UNbelieving Nations....and to show the Jews He who they have pierced.......

I want to be at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb of God......

 

Lord....I hope it is near.

I hope it is tied to Israel and the threat she is facing in the Middle East------at least then I can KNOW it must be near. 

I hope it is in the next 6 months....at most, the next 12 months......

 

And yet....I need to be prepared to be wrong by 1 more year......or 2 or 5 or 10 more years...

 

AH....again, the Conundrum of the Rapture......   wah!
