"Hurricane Sandy: Meanings of the Name Sandy"

Dear Doves,

Hurricane Sandy is in the news in recent days. The name Sandy is originally of Greek derivation, of the masculine name Alexander. As a name for a woman, it is a diminutive of Alexandra or Sandra. Some meanings are the following: "helper and protector of mankind" and "defending man" and related to those living on the sand. There are many sandy beaches on the eastern coastline of the United States of America! Sandy is a unisex name given to males and females, so mankind or man would mean people.
The moon is waxing, gaining in light until the full moon on 10-29 at 10:49 UT. Concerning the star Arcturus, it will be where it was by daylight in June and July. It will be like a "Halloween ghost of the departed summer Sun" on 10-29. Ortonid meteor showers will peak from 11-21 to 11-7, 2012. At www.skyandtelescope.com will be the weekly sky chart posted for the period beginning on Friday, 10-27 until about 11-4. It will detail information as to what signs will be in the Sun, Moon, and the stars for the next week, including the 4 consecutive occult anniversary days of 10-30 to 11-2, 2012. Come quickly, Lord...

With Love and Shalom,
Jean
