THIRD PARTY VOTERS: HOW I THANK GOD FOR THEM

To say that voting for a third party is a vote for Obama is simply not true!

(Five Doves, 16 Oct 2012)

In voting for a third party, the ballot is not ticked by Obama's name; one fills in a name and that name is obviously neither of the two major-party candidates listed on the ballot (or conversely one chooses a third-party candidate who has qualified under state requirements and has been placed on the ballot, again, neither of the two major-party candidates).

Presumably, the intent of the statement in this letter was to cast a vote for a third party in a negative (evil) light, thereby rationalizing a vote for one of the two major-party candidates listed on the ballot.

After such a rationalization, one can easily move right on to Moral Relativism because by joining with all the other "Christians" who are voting for either of these two major-party candidates: one has become a Moral Relativist.

Moral Relativism: "where morality is determined by situations, and situations are relative; therefore, morality is relative."

Moral Relativism stands in opposition to Absolute Morality, "which, in  general, considers that certain actions are absolutely right or wrong, regardless of other contexts such as their consequences or the intentions behind them.  It is a system of morality deriving from Divine commands; therefore, it is regarded as a moral system which is absolute, perfect, and unchangeable."

Relativism...it even sounds grey, doesn't it?  God's Word, however, is not grey.  God's Word is absolute, and He is clear in His Word that we are to put GODLY leaders in headship over us, neither cultists who answer to a "different Christ," nor cultists who answer to a different "God."

There is nothing in His Word that says it is "good" to pick the lesser of two evils...  God is NEVER about the lowest common denominator!  Neither are His children to be--they are held to a higher standard.

"There is a big difference between God using wicked pagan rulers for His purposes and God’s people ‘asking’ for one by casting their vote for a known pagan, anti-Christ worshipper." http://crownrights.org/why-i-cannot-vote-for-romney/#disqus_thread

As C. S. Lewis stated about Moral Relativitism, in The Poison of Subjectivism,

"(it) will certainly end our species and damn our souls."

As Charles Spurgeon said, "Of two evils, choose neither."

As God states (with a much broader application than marriage):

"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" 2 Cor 6:14

It is not through the Compromisers, but it is rather through those very Christians who are willing to "vote third party" that the Spirit of God is working to hold at bay the dark spiritual forces intent upon possessing this earth.

How I thank God for those Christians !
