"To Randy (and Others) - I Can't Trun Away From the Nearness of the Hour"

To Randy (and Others),

You stated it perfectly when you said that you cannot "turn away from the nearness of the hour."  I cannot  turn from it either, and neither can the rest of us.  We can all feel that something really big is about to happen.

It is not any one sign out there that makes me sure the rapture is at hand.  Not even the fact that Israel became a nation again a generation ago (although it certainly is a huge sign).  Even when I look at all of the signs in total and wonder to myself how the world could still hold together at the seams, I still tell myself that the pressure could suddenly start backing down.

Maybe what keeps me from losing heart in the idea that something big is at hand is the idea that there is no going back at this point.  There is no possible way to recover from the economic disaster that is about to happen to the entire world.  There is no way that we can ever recover from the fanaticism of not only radical Islam, but Islam in general.  It is all so radical.

I have been watching the news reports of the constant attacks on the worlds food supplies, and I realize that we are being set up for the Black Horse of the Apocalypse.  According to an article I read this morning, world food reserves are the lowest they have been in 40 years.  We are living year-to-year and there is practically no buffer left.  This hasn't been brought about by any single incident.  It has been a "perfect storm" of factors coming together with precisely the correct supernatural timing.

I know deep down that something big is about to happen because events are unfolding exactly as predicted over two-thousand-five-hundred years ago.  I know deep down inside that something big is going to happen because I can feel the increase in evil in the world.  I know deep down that something big is about to happen because of the long list of strange things in nature that are occurring simultaneously cannot possibly be a coincidence.  Some of these strange things in nature, like strange noises coming from nowhere and the 373 separate incidents of mass-animal die-offs occurring in 65 different nations so far this year alone, literally scream at me that God is trying to get our attention, because  something really big is about to happen.

There is nothing I can do to change what is going to happen.  There seems to be nothing I can do to warn others that the greatest tribulation  that has ever occurred (or will ever occur) is about to take place.  Somewhere around three-fourths of the worlds population is going to die over a relatively short period of seven years.  Nobody wants to listen to my warnings.  All I can do is take my seat and wait for the show to start, which could be any moment now.  Something really big is about to happen.
