"Tragic
loss of Pro-life Activist Kortney Blythe Gordon & baby
Sophy"
My daughter Gingi worked with &
lived with Kortney at "Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust" a
few years ago, and my younger daughter knew her as a 'teacher'
and friend when she took part in their workshop/classes to
prepare young people in the battle for the unborn. My girls went
to Denver in '08 for the DNC and Kortney was right there,
usually driving the vans.
She was a newlywed. She was the mother of a baby girl named
Sophy, only 22 weeks preborn. Last week, Sophy had her first
'photo shoot', and will be one of the 'Voices from the Womb' in
DC...where women will be doing live sonograms and video
sonograms will be presented.
Here is the story of what happened to this mother and daughter:

Please pray for the families of all involved. My own older
daughter was distraught Sunday morning when I called her after
getting the text about the accident. I know that a lot of people
are in mourning right now, and all need prayer. She was too
young, too full of life. She was doing God's work. I ache for my
girls who lost a friend.
She said if she was having a girl, her name would be Sophy after
activist Sophie Scholl.

This quote is so appropriate for a young woman who died doing
what she was called to do...fight for the unborn. An abortion
abolitiontist.
"How can we expect righteousness to prevail when there is hardly
anyone willing to give himself up individually to a righteous
cause. Such a fine, sunny day, and I have to go, but what does
my death matter, if through us thousands of people are awakened
and stirred to action? ` Sophie Scholl"
Blessings~
