I know this is off-topic, but could some of the "numbers" people weigh in on Herman Cain's 9-9-9 plan, please?   Is 9% income tax, across the board, reasonable when the highest wage earner now pays a 35% income tax rate (lowest pays 10%)?  Also would a 9% national sales tax preclude a state sales tax (and some states like Oregon, Alaska, and Montana don't tax sales)?  Good plan/bad plan?  Would appreciate any feedback just in case we're still here for the 2012 election.
