Ah the emotional ups and downs of a BIG POSSIBLE RAPTURE Date......that (for now) seems to have come and gone.
 
The GIVEN Facts:
 
1) Jesus came the first time.....JUST LIKE IT WAS FORETOLD in the Old Testament....and RIGHT ON TIME!
 
2) Jesus promised to come again....and He WILL....and it WILL BE....RIGHT ON TIME.
 
3) Israel's re-birth is CRITICAL to the End Times. We ARE the LAST Generation, as Jesus said in matthen 24.
 
4) I do believe we are in the Last of the Last Days.........
 
Beyond that.......at best, we are using educated guesswork to attempt to "find the date" for the Rapture.
 
And, as much as I believe we are in the 'last of the last days".......  finding THE date, is potentially.....and unfortuantely....... impossible....or at the very least it is very very elusive!!  Who speaks for God in these last days???  I have yet to find that unique, appointed person...... certainly it isn't me!
 
Soooooooo......... what to do (at least for me) going forward?
 
1) I can't keep my eye from still watching......and reading......the same websites I have read now for over 13 years.   Raptureready.com , Watch.org and of course Fivedoves.com
 
2) But, after mostly obsessing over these last 5 weeks about the Fall Feasts, 2011.....   life, unfortunately, calls once again.  Work, Income, Cash flow, managing clients, managing marketing efforts for new clinets....in other words...LIFE!  I can't just coast, financially....  what if we are wrong by another 1 year of more?  Or even 10 years of more?  Doesn't seem possible to have the Rapture THAT far off yet....but, who knows....really!
 
So, it's back to the life at hand.....always still watching.
 
And going back to WHY did I.....why do I......want to see the Rapture happen so much??  What are my motives any way?  Well,
 
1) From the things I have learned over the past 13 years.....and with the passing of those 13 years.....and with the events around the world fullfilling the "birth pangs" from Matthew 24....the Rapture just seems so near.  So near....and I just want to GET TO IT THEN!!  (lol)  Let's go!!  I am excited to think.....to believe........to know......that WE ARE THAT GENERATION!!
 
2) I really want to see Jesus....my Lord and Savior........come back as He said He would......WHEN He said He would.....  I am age 56, and with 2/3's of my life behind me....I will see Him one day soon anyway......even if the Rapture is delayed for many years.  (In other words....I know WHERE I get to go one day when I die OR when the Rapture happens....so, hey, LET"S GET ON WITH IT!!..... I'm ready to go!!!
 
(Ah, then you run the risk of being "so heavenly minded, you are no earthly good" to anyone......even yourself, let alone to your family and others!  )
 
3) To some extent.....it would be nice to be, finally, RIGHT about all of this.  I have told a number of friends about the nearness of this event....and most, just simply think I'm at best - extreme, in my faith.  And at worst.....-NUTS!
Oh well.......... And, many people in this world KNOW of the theory of the Rapture....and they, too, just think we're NUTS!  And I long to have them experience the start of these End Times Events, beginning with a pre-Trib Rapture.....so they/the world will see the MIGHT AND POWER of my Lord and Savior......in an undeniable way.  Then, we will see who is laughing....as they always do on the Daily Show......which has spoken of the Rapture a number of times.
 
So, i'ts time to pick myself up.....find the motivation to "stay the course" to do what I need to do for this life, while keeping a watchful eye on the Lord's agenda in these days.....whether I like that or not (lol).
 
I am sure there will still come "high watch dates" in the future.  We may still be in "that season" yet for the Fall Jewish Feasts in 2011.  But in a few more days, that, too, will be (may well be) behind us...again.
 
Then........  I must go back to managing the needs of this life.....and also:
1) Always being on alert and watching........ but not SO focused.  LIVE like the Rapture could be today......BUT PLAN and WORK in this life, as if we might be wrong by even as much as 10-20 years.
2) Watching closely for the Spring Feasts in 2012. COULD there be a BIG warning from God...IF the "dead in Christ rise first" .....and then walk on the earth for a few days or weeks before we are caught up with the to Jesus?  NOW THAT would be a wonderful thing, wouldn't it???
3) Watching closely for the Fall Feasts in 2012.......did the DOW drop of Sept 29, 2008......point to Rosh Hashanah, 2012???  I don't know.....
 
BUT IT NOTHING HAPPENS.....it the Rapture doesn't happen by the Fall Feasts of 2012......then I"M OUT OF IDEAS myself.......
 
Staying the course......doing what I need to do..........

1) The Peace Treaty for Israel......
2) Iran / Syria attacks Israel....or
3) Israel attacks Iran / Syria
 
then in 2012.....
1) the presidential elections.......Will Obama win again???? or not??
2) Is there anything to the Dec 21, 2012 Mayan date thing??
 
And,
Look at what did NOT materialize this fall
1) Elenin........a NON event.....just as I thought it would be...but, there always was that 'chance' ........   now, watch everyone change to watching for the Planet X coming behind Elenin...with EVEN LESS science fact than we had for Elenin....UGH!
2) And while the world economy is STILL on the brink.....it hasn't snapped yet.  And even the US Dollar has strengthend.....and the markets (today) seem to want to rally.  ( I do have LESS hope for the markets now than I did 10 months ago.....one day, it all just HAS TO SNAP.....but then, I think it will take the Rapture to make it all collapse.....that's when the A/C comes on the scene to fix everything!!)
 
And in the meantime......life still goes on.....and most of the world is OBLIVIOUS to everything you and I are seeing......watching......and waiting for.........
