I want to share with you my thoughts about the 144,000.

In the old testament the order of birthdays  was important.

Why do you think the apostle JOHN , in  Revelation identifies the tribes of Jacob in a different manner ?

The answer is in the meaning of their names.

John had a vision of God  and  Jesus revealed to John the way  the 12,000 of each tribe were to be written down.  =   to serve as a message   !

 

John did not even start with the eldest son of Jacob.

               He starts with

Judah  =    meaning................. Celebrated

Ruben =.................................. See a son

Gad  =.................................... Joy

Asher =................................... Happy

Naphtali =...............................  My wrestling

Manasse = .............................  causing to forget

Simeon =................................. Hearing , listen ( Sh'ma )

Levi  =..................................... Attached

Issachar =..............................  He will bring a reward

Zebulun =..............................   Habitation

Joseph  =..............................   Let him add

Benjamin =............................  Son of my right

      

The tribe  that is  not mentioned is  DAN ( Judge )

and  Ephraim ( double fruit )

 

If Dan  is not mentioned , that is why John replaced him by Menasse ( son of Joseph ).

Why not by Ephraim ?

 

My friend    Paul... lets  put their name's meaning in a phrase and see what John saw when He wrote the manuscript.

 

'' Celebrate , see a Son of Joy and Happy . My wrestling caused me to forget.    Listen, there is someone attached to us. God will bring a reward

   in a Habitation and  will be added  by the Son of my right. ''

                                            Their mission

In the order that John wrote it Rev 7 : 3-4   they were marked  for some purpose.  amission.  Lets try to see what John saw.

 

'' Celebrate the name of the Eternal God for the good news of Christ.  See my Son  of Joy and happy.

   My wrestling with sin ,God caused to forget.     Hearing that a groupe of people will be grafted to Israel  as sons ... they will be attached to us.

   God will bring a reward in an habitation and position us in a ministry once more and will  add  to the ones saved by the name of Jesus Christ,

    the Son of my right.''   ( Mt 26: 64 ;  Act 7 : 56 )

The  144,000  are redeemed from earth like the premices of Israel. After the rapture of the Church all eyes will be turned toward Israel.

These 144,000  jews will have the mark of God on their forhead( thinking.) they will know God and the good news of the Kingdom and  it is wriiten ...

Rev 14: 4 They were redeemed AMONG  men being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.......And in their mouth was found no GUILE, for they are without fault before the throne of God.

If there is no    GUILE   or fault  in what they are saying ....   So to speak , they will have to  S A Y  something.  Preach God in other words.

They will have to support  the  JEWS  left  and they will also have for a certain time ( 3 1/2  yrs  )   help from the  two witness ( Rev 11 : 3).

If they don't talk , it is natural they will not say LIES.   But if they talk... they will have  GOD  words in their mouth. Words of truth.  But with their mouth speaking and

talking about God, there will be  NO  FAULTs..

This remnant of the people will be saved (  Rom 9 : 27  ).

The reste of  Israel will have to face the wars against the arabes ( Ps 83 ). Rev 12 : 17. many will turn to Christ. They will be keepers of the commendments od God and they will keep the testimony of Jesus Christ.        and after that... a coalition of nation with Gog and Magog.   will come against Israel   Ez 38 , 39.

The 144,000 will guide many jews to Jesus Christ, the Saviour.

They are protected under God wing.

I  hope my thoughts  on this  matter  will help.   YES my opinion is that the 144,000  will preach Jesus Christ to the jews left after our departure.

And then again... it is only my humble way of understanding ... I surely hope , as a christian in Jesus ; that God will continue helping us to understand  HIS PLAN

and guidance.
