When I was a young girl in 1985, there was a movie called Legend with Tom Cruise.   And although Tom regrets making this film, I still watch it with such awe.   The movie is about a princess who does something forbidden and that is she touches a unicorn.   I actually used this movie to talk to my son about salvation, the tribulation, falling into sin, and repenting.   The movie is rated PG and has no foul language, but it could be a little scary for little-bity children. 

The princess finally realizes that she has "sinned" and she wants to make it right.   While everything is good and no hard times have come yet, she sees a vision of things to come when she sees a "clock" spinning (like the Bride now sees times on the clock) of a time of darkness coming (the tribulation).   She does not know what the vision means yet she finds herself on the other side of the darkness, being wooed by the devil.   This devil tries to "sacrifice" the white unicorn and usurp its "power"  (thinks by killing Jesus he has won).   At the end the devil is thrown into the abyss (hell) when the light overtakes him. 

In the movie, there are two very white unicorns and I am reminded that the Father and Jesus are holy, they are one and they sit on the throne in power and holiness forever.   I am reminded that I must obey their laws and live in holiness as to not allow the enemy to gain a stronghold.

In a scene where the princess is being wooed by the devil, she is given a dress.   The dress I am telling you it shocked me because when Jennifer Lopez wore that green Versace dress that was that low cut, I KNEW WHO WAS PUSHING THIS KIND OF CLOTHING TO STEAL THE INNOCENCE OF THE CHILDREN.....AND THAT A HERO (JESUS) must be coming to rescue the bride.   The devil had begun his strategy to steal the innocence of the children when Jennifer Lopez flaunted this dress in public, now you see everyone wearing these dresses and it is not shocking at all?!?!  

Those that are wooed into the darkness and not coming out of it, not asking for mercy and repentance shall be thrust into the tribulation, into the darkness like in this movie.   Do you really think that the tribulation would be so easy?   Don't you realize that the devil is very strong and could easily overtake a person?    One must come to the holy white throne of God and ask for mercy and salvation through His son and His blood now!   The perversion of the enemy is taking a stronghold and it is enough!   The princess (the bride) must be rescued before the tribulation.   And being into the tribulation, one should expect to be tortured like in this movie.   It is time to stop being so lackadaisical about what is going on in the world and thinking that God is good, he wouldn't put me in the tribulation.  

Well let me tell you something, when I was living in sin I always thought I was saved and I could backslide and do what I wanted to and Jesus would rescue me.    If this was true, then babies would never be aborted.   So what made me think I was any more special or any better if a new born baby was aborted, and I was over here drinking and doing whatever I wanted that I would not be thrust into the tribulation?   Wow, I woke up and realized that I need to bring honor to Heaven and the great race that the Lord put before me.   I needed to start displaying signs and behavior that was worthy of the family that I was being groomed to be in for eternity.   The magnitude of this honor, no one could put a price on it and our lives are like an epic battle for the soul and to win that battle we all must come to the cross. 

The devil is trying to woo the bride and pervert her and a hero is coming to her rescue!   We must fast and not give into tempation as Jesus is coming!   The bride is "Loved by the Son!"      Loved by the Sun theme of the movie

Jesus has been using all avenues of media to get people's attention that He is real, the devil is real, that evil must be conquered.   This movie really did make me think when I was little.   There are no excuses that God has not been getting man's attention.
