Reading your post, "The Occupy movement" - these words came into my mind: ‘the beginning of the end’.
 
This is not the first time the masses rose up against real or perceived oppressors. This time however, their entitlement mentality seems to be the primary force behind their actions.

It amazes me that they don’t understand that once the producers of wealth are equally poor with those who feel entitled to the wealth, they all become slaves to the entity who has the enforcement power to distribute the results of their labor as it sees fit – historically, to sustain and maintain itself in power.
