"Palestian state-God's news"

October 3, 2011
It is anyone’s guess as to when the final vote will take place in the United Nations’ Security Council, in reference to recognizing the Palestinian State. It could be days or weeks. Here is where it stands right now---
Nine of the 15 Security Council votes must be in favor of a Palestinian State. In addition, the resolution must NOT be vetoed by any of the five permanent members of the Security Council: the United States, Great Britain, France, Russia and China.
President Obama has said that he will veto if nine members vote in favor of the Palestinian State. However, the United States would not have to use their veto power if there were eight votes---and not nine. If the U.S. uses its veto power, this would create ill-will against the United States (maybe even a terrorist backlash!) from the Arab and Muslim world.
Here are the nations who would vote FOR a Palestinian State, so far: Russia, China, Brazil, India, South Africa, Nigeria, Lebanon and Gabon. Here are the nations who would vote AGAINST a Palestinian State, so far: United States, Great Britain, France and Germany.
That leaves three countries who are presently “Undecided” that can “turn the tide” for or against the Palestinian State: Colombia, Portugal and Bosnia. If the Palestinians can get just one of these three “undecided” countries to vote for a Palestinian State---it would be a damaging of relations between the United States and the Arab states.
As the scripture says, and we urgently affirm: “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told it like it really was in an interview given during his recent trip to the United Nations. He declared: “Iran poses certainly a great danger to Israel, but it represents an enormous danger to the Middle East and to the world.
“This is the premier sponsor of terrorists. I’ve spoken about this issue with all world leaders, and I think that it’s important that everyone understand that Iran with nuclear weapons is a danger to us all.
“Iran supplies terrorists with rockets and many other things. It would give (terrorists) a nuclear umbrella or worse, actually give them nuclear weapons. Time is short and there’s a lot of work to do!”
Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei came against a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians, saying the Palestinian bid for statehood at the United Nations is doomed to fail.
Khamenei said the Palestinians should not limit themselves to seeking a country based on the pre-1967 borders because “all land belongs to Palestinians.” He also claimed that the two-state solution would mean “giving in to the demand of the Zionists” and that it would “trample the rights of the Palestinian people” to live on THEIR land.
Khamenei also called Israel a “cancerous tumor” that should be removed
