"Part I The Trade War begins... and it's Carbon Credits out of the EU that start it. One word describes the future- Protectionism"
Bible Prophecy is very complex, with so much of it happening simultaneously.I'll try to recap for ya what I've been posting and how it all comes together to fulfill what the Prophet Daniel and the Apostle John saw for the end of days.I recently posted- An Energy Standard for a World Currency
IS A CARBON CURRENCY THE ENDGAME?
Carbon currency is a global monetary system that would not be based on money as we have historically known it, but on carbon credits.
The Mark of the Beast is a carbon based/commodities currency
It is no coincidence that the World Economic Forum that was recently held in Jordan Oct.22, 23, 24 2011, calls for -
Prominent banker Ibrahim Dabdoub said the proposed "Arab Marshall Plan" could be funded by Gulf petrodollars and regional development banks, as there is little hope for major funding from Western nations dealing with their own economic trouble.
The crisis that everyone recognizes is that much of the Arab world has now undergone a revolution of sorts, but it is a leaderless revolution, at least so far. And the common consensus is that economic, and perhaps social conditions, are going to get a lot worse before they get better.
The fact that Arab states traded so little with each other, that Arabs needed visas to get from one country to another, was bemoaned. Free movement of capital is too restricted, delegates said.
The EU Commission has proposed that spot carbon permits should be classified as financial instruments, adding to futures, forwards and options which are already covered by financial market rules (MiFID).
"By treating emission allowances as other financial assets, the proposal extends financial market protection to the carbon market," EU Climate Commissioner Connie Hedegaard said.Under the EU's emissions trading scheme, large emitters are required to monitor their CO2 emissions and if they exceed a certain level, must buy carbon permits to compensate.September 28, 2011 (Reuters) - China called on Wednesday for talks with the European Union about a scheme demanding airlines buy carbon emission permits, something Beijing has labeled an unfair burden that infringes upon other countries' sovereignty.
"Countries should solve the issue through consultation rather than take unilateral action that may lead to confrontation," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei told a regular news briefing.
"China appreciates the EU's efforts in climate change, but opposes the EU's forced implementation of unilateral legislation. China has expressed its position many times and our concerns to the EU," he added.
"In fact, not only China but many other countries oppose this. We hope the EU can act prudently and take a positive and practical attitude to handle this matter through proper consultation with China and other parties."
China and Russia on Tuesday issued a joint statement condemning the scheme as unfair.
From January 1 2012, about 4,000 airline operators will face emission limits on all flights into or out of the 27-nation bloc -- regardless of nationality or operator -- and must submit emission permits for each tonne of carbon dioxide released.
U.S. Vote on EU Aviation Plan May Start Trade War, Environment Group Says
The House yesterday passed the “European Union Emissions Trading Scheme Prohibition Act of 2011” after the industry estimated that participation in the cap-and-trade system would cost U.S. airlines $3.1 billion between 2012 and 2020. The U.S. move comes five weeks before the start of a United Nations summit to debate post-2012 climate-protection rules, highlighting the challenge of ironing out a global agreement to put a price on carbon and prevent global warming.
“This bill could ignite a trade war that would put tens of thousands of U.S. jobs in jeopardy,” Annie Petsonk, international counsel at the New York-based Environmental Defense Fund, said in an e-mailed statement. “By barring U.S.-based airlines from complying with applicable law for flights traveling to EU airports, this bill would compel those airlines either to drop their EU routes or become scofflaws".
Carriers including American Airlines and Continental Airlines are challenging the expansion of the ETS in an EU court and China’s airline association said earlier this year the European initiative may prompt trade conflict. An adviser to the EU court said in a non-binding opinion on Oct. 6 that the inclusion of aviation in the region’s cap-and-trade is compatible with international law, signaling the suing airlines should lose the challenge.
Who is trumpeting the Loudest for Low Carbon initiatives?
HRH P.Charles, the prince who is to come-
And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and its end shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
In order for the lie of Low Carbon Initiatives to be swallowed by the Whole World, the U.S. must be removed out-of-the way.
New NASA Data Blow Gaping Hole In Global Warming Alarmism
NASA satellite data from the years 2000 through 2011 show the Earth's atmosphere is allowing far more heat to be released into space than alarmist computer models have predicted, reports a new study in the peer-reviewed science journal Remote Sensing. The study indicates far less future global warming will occur than United Nations computer models have predicted, and supports prior studies indicating increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide trap far less heat than alarmists have claimed.
Study co-author Dr. Roy Spencer, a principal research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and U.S. Science Team Leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer flying on NASA's Aqua satellite, reports that real-world data from NASA's Terra satellite contradict multiple assumptions fed into alarmist computer models.
"The satellite observations suggest there is much more energy lost to space during and after warming than the climate models show," Spencer said in a July 26 University of Alabama press release. "There is a huge discrepancy between the data and the forecasts that is especially big over the oceans."
In addition to finding that far less heat is being trapped than alarmist computer models have predicted, the NASA satellite data show the atmosphere begins shedding heat into space long before United Nations computer models predicted.
When objective NASA satellite data, reported in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, show a "huge discrepancy" between alarmist climate models and real-world facts, climate scientists, the media and our elected officials would be wise to take notice. Whether or not they do so will tell us a great deal about how honest the purveyors of global warming alarmism truly are.
UNITED NATIONS— How's this for an idea: an "environmental war room" to lead the world's efforts to find a fix for global warming.
Virgin CEO and British billionaire Richard Branson offered that idea up while addressing the start of a U.N. debate on climate change, saying it would be run by a world figure in global warming and could serve as "a tool for the U.N." to ferret out good ideas and calculate each nation's costs.
It will all make perfect sense to the World.
Population boom heralds big global economic shifts
With the global population headed for the 9 billion mark by 2050, economists are pinning their faith on continued technological innovation and the invisible hand of market prices to lead to a more efficient, sustainable use of finite natural resources instead of a deadly fight to the end for the last barrel of oil and drop of water.
"When you've got China, India and Brazil(BRIC Nations) that are so big and are growing so fast, you're going to get a major reorganization, if not disruption, of the world economic order," said Professor Lawrence Haddad, director of the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex in England.
"We're going to go through a massive adjustment in the next 15 to 20 years. We're just beginning to see it," he said.
Some countries are introducing carbon taxes to reflect the non-renewability of fossil fuels and induce consumers to change the way they behave. The fact that water is largely free for most farmers, who use 70-80 percent of the world's water, leads to enormous waste, Buiter added.
"Either prices or policies will have to change. One way or the other we will have to ration these things," he said. "Technical change can't do it all for us. We can choose: we can either have physical rationing, which is difficult and inefficient, or price rationing of some kind."
