"Trumpets and The Awakening Blast"

Dear Doves,

As a follow up to my email of Oct 7, 2011 entitled "Has This Happened
to Anyone Else?" I've been doing some in depth studying on the shofar
and its significance. I hope it will be helpful to you and encourage
you to keep the faith, your oil lamp burning brightly, and your wick
trimmed... this is not over yet!

Much of the information I'm going to share with you is taken from a DVD
I purchased several years ago (and didn't know I possessed until the
Lord pointed me to it... a confirmation in and of itself!) from Voice
of Evangelism Ministries with Perry Stone and Bill Cloud teaching on
"The Shofar and Tallit: Unlocking Hebrew Mysteries."

To synthesize all of this information, I am going to put much of this
in outline form, but will expound where I think it's relevant. At the
end of my letter, I'll share some additional impressions I feel the Lord
gave me in regards to all of this.

1. Perry and Bill based much of their thesis on the passage in Psalm
150 which states:

"PRAISE THE LORD! Praise God in His sanctuary! Praise Him in His mighty
firmament! Praise Him for His mighty acts! Praise Him according to His
excellent greatness! Praise Him with THE SOUND OF THE TRUMPET!
Praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and
dance! Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with
loud cymbals! Praise Him with clashing symbols! Let everything that has
breath praise the Lord! PRAISE THE LORD!

2. They explained that the Lord chose the RAM'S HORN for these specific
reasons:

a. An innocent animal had to be sacrificed to create this instrument.
b. All of the others listed were made by man. This was the only one
made by God.
c. The dead, flesh and blood of the animal had to be removed from the
horn.
d. It's rough edges had to be sanded down.
e. There had to be an opening for the "Breath of Life" to flow through
when blowing the horn.
f. The entire instrument was used in the praise of God - including the
animal's very life.
g. This was a picture of Christ's death and the transformation His
disciples go through as they are justified, sanctified, and glorified
by the Power of the Holy Spirit.

3. They spoke of Christ as the substitute for Isaac when Abraham
was commanded to sacrifice His son on Mount Moriah.
As the two walked up one side of the mountain, the ram walked up the
other prepared to give its life. The fact that the RAM WAS CAUGHT BY
THE HORNS IN THE THICKET (or thorn bush) IS A PERFECT PICTURE
OF JESUS CROWNED WITH THORNS PRIOR TO HIS CRUCIFIXION.

4. They indicated Abraham cut BOTH THE LEFT AND RIGHT HORNS OFF
THE RAM making the left THE FIRST TRUMP that was passed down from
Abraham through the patriarchs to Moses and blown by him on Mount Sinai
when God made His Covenant with Israel (Exodus 19). They said the Jews
believe the LAST TRUMP or right horn OF THE ORIGINAL ANIMAL will be
blown to herald the coming of the Messiah in the last days. (Wow!)

The question being asked is WHERE IS THIS RIGHT HORN NOW? (More
thoughts on this later!)

5.  They said there are 3 DISTINCT SOUNDS MADE BY THE SHOFAR
DURING THE ROSH HASHANAH SEASON which include:

a. Tekiah - A short blast used to awaken or stir us, to move our
spirits to awaken from slumber; to praise the Lord as in Psalm 150 and
Psalm 98:4-6.

b. Shevarim - A series of broken notes indicating the heart break sin
produces; alluding to repentance and turning back to God; sounding
almost like intense crying or uncontrollable sobbing.

c. Teruah - An alarm sound of staccato notes warning the Jews to
prepare or to get ready (as in, for war); a sound similar to what it
would be like if the cavalry were coming. (Joshua 6:20, Judges 7:18)

6. They then indicated there was one final blast of THE LAST TRUMPET
OR THE BLOWING OF THE GREAT SHOFAR. (BTW, they did NOT say
this was specifically blown on RH.)

THE LAST TRUMPET is called TEKIAH HAGADOLAH.

According to the Hertz Authorized Daily Prayer Book, Pg. 865:

"And in the poetic conception of our later teachers, it was the sound
of THE GREAT SHOFAR (TEKIAH HAGADOLAH) that will on THE LAST
DAY rend open the graves and cause the dead to rise. Thus, the
Messianic (Blessed) HOPE, Resurrection, and Immortality of the soul are
intertwined with the message of the shofar."

Which matches 1 Corinthians 15:50-52:

"Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the
Kingdom of God. Neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold! I
show you a mystery: we shall not all sleep but we shall all be changed,
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye at THE LAST TRUMP (TEKIAH
HAGADOLAH) for THE TRUMPET shall sound, and the dead shall be raised
incorruptible and we shall be changed."

7. The shofar has A Voice:

FIRST TRUMPET:
"Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning
flashes,THE SOUND OF THE TRUMPET, and the mountain smoking; and when
the people saw it they trembled and stood afar off." (Exodus 20:18)

"After this, I looked and behold, a door was open in Heaven, and The
First Voice which I heard was, as it were, A TRUMPET TALKING with me -
which said, 'Come up here and I will show you things which must be
hereafter."
(Rev 4:1)

LAST TRUMPET:
"For the Lord, Himself, will descend from Heaven with a SHOUT, with the
voice of an archangel, and with THE TRUMP OF GOD (TEKIAH HAGADOLAH).
And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we, which are are alive
and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the
Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord." (1 Thessalonians
4:16-17)

All three are A CLEAR PICTURE OF THE RAPTURE!

8. And finally, according to Acts 3:21, Acts 1:6-11, and 1 Cor 15:50
Jesus will return in the same manner that He went up -

Therefore, If He's coming back with a shout, HE WENT UP WITH ONE!! Sure
enough, Psalm 47:5 states:

"GOD HAS GONE UP WITH A SHOUT, THE LORD WITH THE SOUND OF A
TRUMPET!"

So, back to the question of where is the RIGHT RAM'S HORN? Perhaps
since the LAST TRUMP was passed down from Abraham through the patriarchs
to the High Priest at the Temple, it was given to THE GREAT HIGH PRIEST,
OUR SAVIOUR AND LORD, JESUS CHRIST, WHO TOOK IT TO HEAVEN
WITH HIM WHEN HE LEFT AND WILL BE BLOWING IT FOR US WHEN HE
SOON RETURNS!!

One last thought, and maybe of equal importance for all of us watching and waiting,
longing for the coming of Our Messiah...

It was my distinct impression after I finished researching and studying this topic
that the Lord showed me that each note the shofar speaks of represents a distinct
time period leading to the rapture:

THE TEKIAH - Signifying the joy of ROSH HASHANAH which I believe I actually
heard on 10/2/11. (See previous post.)

THE SHEVARIM - Signifying the solemn holiness and brokenness of YOM KIPPUR
with the Gates of Heaven being closed.

THE TERUAH - Signifying the time of the Bridegroom's tarrying as the wise virgins
stoke their lamps; the unwise fall away; Israel prepares for war; and the world knowingly
or unknowingly heads into God's Judgment and the Tribulation. (Notice that all of the
Middle East is a tinderbox right now. Israel is clearly surrounded by enemies and surely
about to be divided. Syria is threatening to strike with only 6 hours needed to "annihilate
Israel'. And the world stage is clearly set for the tribulation to begin any day.)

AND THE LAST TRUMP!!

THE TEKIAH HAGADOLAH - The shofar blown just before the Feast of
Tabernacles, a seven day feast matching the 7 year tribulation; the
time of our GLORIFICATION when the dead in Christ are raised and
those who are alive and remain are changed; with His Bride at the
Throne of Grace in the Holy of Holies throughout the Tribulation protected from
the wrath... Hidden in Christ.

And on THAT NOTE (PUN INTENDED!) keep the faith and keep looking
up! I'm sure we're going home soon!

Godspeed,

E.S.T.

P.S. Thx Nicole for your kind response to my original message! I appreciate
your thoughtfulness. Will try to respond as soon as I can.
