"Concern in these
last, last days......."
Hi all,
There is absolutely no doubt we are living in the very, very
last days...possibly moments. We are in the season and
Jesus promised to return FOR us in the generation Israel would
be re-born. We are watchers, watchmen on the
wall..looking for Him and the city whose Builder and Maker IS
God.
I sure hope He will come for us this year..but if not, we must
not grow weary right ?
So while I am not growing weary of watching and praying, I
have a concern for those who I have shared the Blessed Hope of
the Lord’s imminent return. Since 2007, I have been
getting people excited and sober about Jesus’ soon
return. I have pointed them to the signs of the times
and to the scriptures. I have scared some and excited
some.
But these friends and family members only watched for a short
season. When 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 came and went, I
feel they don’t want me to share anything more about the
Lord’s Return. When He comes, He comes is their attitude
...that coupled with the cares of this world. The
mainstream church gives one or two messages we are living in
the end times and people shrug it off.
How do we deal with people who were once excited and sober but
have lost their enthusiasm, their vision, their hope ?
Any thoughts ?
