"TO: Amy V RE:
'a likely scenario'"
Hi Amy,
I like your writings very much! We are in agreement on
most points, but I would like you to consider the following:
Revelation 5:9
"You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because
you were slain, and with your blood YOU PURCHASED MEN FOR GOD
from every tribe and language and people and nation. YOU HAVE
MADE THEM TO BE A KINGDOM AND PRIESTS TO SERVE OUR GOD, and they
will reign on the earth." (future tense)
I believe this to be the (future tense) description of 'The
Church', BEFORE THE RAPTURE, purchased with the blood of Christ
to be FUTURE priests to serve God and reign with Him for the
one-thousand-year kingdom on earth.
I also believe the following to be the (present tense)
description of 'The Church', AFTER THE RAPTURE, similarly
described:
Revelation 7:9 and 7:15 and 7:14
"After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude
that no one could count from every NATION , TRIBE, PEOPLE and
LANGUAGE, standing in front of the throne and in front of the
Lamb."
"Therefore, they are before the throne of God and serve Him day
and night in His temple." (present tense)
"These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they
have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the
Lamb."
The preceeding Scriptures describe 'The Church' both 'before and
after' the rapture.
