Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be pored upon the desolate. 

I have posted in the past that I believe that Jesus died at the end of 69 prophetic weeks of years and the sacrifice was ceased-the veil was torn.  The 70 weeks stopped as the church was born.  When it restarts there will be 1290 days from the sacrifice ceased to the abomination of desolation.  The one week of this verse refers to a week or 7 years within the 70 weeks prophecy, not the final 70th week.  Jesus took care of the first half (so He is the he)and the 2 witnesses take care of the second half.

 

If this is true I thought that Clay Cantrell’s method’s would show one way or the other

1- total gematria to the point of 108=1518=69x22

            -interesting because after 69 week Messiah was cut off and 22=exceeding light which sounds like Jesus

 

2- gematria(original text) of 108=elohiym=God-the he that this verse is referring to

 

3-378+108+378=8x108=864

            -theres the 108 again

            -gematria of 864=hagios=holy, saints, most holy thing

 

4-then I looked up the strongs number for 1518 (gematria of verse up to 108)

            H1518=giyach=to bring forth or come forth

            G2718=eirenopois=peacemakers as used in Matt 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God”

            Isn’t the church the children of God and isn’t that what came forth from the death and resurrection of Jesus

 

5-1518=(5x273)+153

            273=church (david robinson post 9-27-10)

            153=Hebrew gematria of sons of God

 

6-I am concerned with the first part of the verse “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease that ends with”

            -the gematria total up to that point is 2718=(108x10)+6x273)

 

7 Now using the original text side on the bible wheel site.  The last word of the first part of the verse is “to cease” which is H7673=shabath  on the original text side it has a gematria of 722.  Adding up the gematria to that point =2730 or 273 x 10

            -Again the church

 

8-this is verse number 22016=8x32x86

            8 is new beginning, 32 is covenant, and 86=gematria(strong’s) of Elohiym-AGAIN

            this verse is about strengthening the covenant that Daniel was praying about in Daniel 9:4
 

If you believe in Clay Cantrell's methods, I believe you have to come away believing that this verse refers to Jesus and the new covenant.  There is no 7 year great tribulation referred to in this verse.
