I am not sure if this is just because of Columbus Day weekend or what but I live Maine, and today I saw more RV"S the luxury kind as well, and massive luxury buses  like the buses musicians tour in when they are on a tour and they are everywhere today .There had to be a least thirty or so. Granted I live near some incredible lakes but I have never seen so many, they were in every parking lot at every gas station and what felt like every road I turned on. Yet the lakes themselves were empty.  I think Mike is on to something... one other point I would like to make is the wind here it will not stop howling and it is blowing quite hard, almost like magic right before the moment of rapture so to speak in the Narnia series.
