My fellow DovesI was just thinking about the peace talks. They want a peace deal within one year (2011). If Israel extends the settlement freeze for 60 more days as the whole world is calling for--- then the next goal is to define the borders of a future Palestinian state. This way Israel can resume building settlements in what will be Israel and not on Palestinian state territory. So when you you think about that ?????====== they are now going to decide the borders of Joel 3:2. GOD is angry at the nations who divide up his land.Heres my point----- By deciding the borders early and fast.. REMEMBER THEY ONLY HAVE 60 DAYS. This will speed up the peace process. US PEACE envoy to the middleast George Mitchell already stated that the parties were making more ground than he thought they would on the core issues of the conflict ( just a few weeks ago). Also supposedly the Netanayhu government already agreed to continue the peace talks where the Olmert government left off as noted by Saeb Erekat. So we are getting so so so so close. Remember Olmert almost had an agreement with Palestine and Abbas before he left office. Olmert had one year to strike a deal. The Palestinians backed out at the last minute. Once they decide borders the settlement issue hurdle will be over.Minorities Affairs Minister Avishay Braverman of Labor said in a telephone interview. “The long-term viability of Israel depends on dividing the territory of the Holy Land.”
